I’ve been writing for as long as I can remember. I was a bookish child and a talented storyteller. Aged 14, my version of Apollo and Daphne was sent to a famous writer by my school teacher. In 2011, countless Harry Potter (and other) fan fictions later, I’ve decided to venture into non-fiction and turned it into a paid job (although I haven’t left fiction completely behind and published a novella for a client).
I’ve been publishing interesting, sometimes controversial, often humorous opinion pieces on independent magazines. I’ve also written about design, architecture, men’s fashion and more for several publications. One of my pieces on Surface Earth had more readers than stuff on the Guardian!

I’ve also written copy for several big clients both in English and Italian, and that’s how I’ve ended up with an in-house marketing job at a digital agency, where I was responsible for their own promotion as well as writing for their highest end clients. I’ve left that job behind and have been working in the charity sector since 2013, being published here and there but mainly focusing on content marketing and one of my favourite things ever, Twitter. 

After a year growing the reach of the amazing charity Good Works, while taking a leadership course to prepare for public life, I’ve taken a step back from marketing. Our university outreach programme grew into almost a charity in its own right under the Good Works brand, and now I run workshops with university students about creating a good career and success based on values. Nothing requires good communication quite like that! 

In short, I’m a communications junkie. I love to use words to spread awesome things. And if you read until now, I believe you have something awesome you want to spread!
